Syed,
You have two versions of squid that you can use. One version is compiled with MSVC and installs as a service, the other compiles
with GNUcc available as part of the cygwin package (http://www.cygwin.com) and can run under srvany as a service.
To use the MSVC version, download the binary from http://serassio.interfree.it
To use the unix-like version, download cygwin, and get the current squid source code for version 2.4 or later from
http://www.squid-cache.org
