With a recent squid 2.5PRE-CVS running on Linux (Red Hat 7.2, kernel
2.4.18).
I noticed that if I use aufs as storage module, the squid process' cpu usage
jumps to 99.9% even under moderate load. Using diskd with the same data
under the same kiad the CPU usage is under 10%.
Is it a bug, a busy-loop, a race condition somewhere? In other words,
should I worry or just use diskd and be done with it? :)
