The icons issue is a known problem of Squid-2.5. Needs to get fixed
before we go STABLE.
The DNS issue is a new one I think, and it is very good you found this
one.
Expect to have a patch shortly. Until then recompile your Squid with
--disable-internal-dns.
Problem description: Squid won't deal correctly with multi-level
compressed DNS records.
