I'm experiencing the problem on both Linux and Windows
The Linux binary is build with delay pools
support but no delay pools defined, while the
Windows binary is compiled without delay pools support.

Obviously during a failed request ?

I can run Squid under gdb on the Linux machine,
tell me what other info you need.
