I was able to fix some, but I have just discovered that the nt branch
on Sourceforge was not in perfect sync with 3.HEAD, probably a
cvsmerge problem, so now I have manually synced the branch and some
other seems to be gone, but now is time to sleep .... :-)

After some other work I will see if there are problems that I don't
know how to fix.
