1.2 LAST_RESORT Patch?

        I would like to know if there is an equivalent for 1.2 of the 1.1
LAST_RESORT patch.
        LAST_RESORT: when no parents or siblings could be reached, the proxy
server tried directly as a last resort.
        Is that feasable on 1.2? (I'm running 1.2b20)
