Hello all,
recently we experienced an abnormally termination of Squid.
Cache.log shows:
[date] [time]| WARNING: Exceeded 'cache_swap' high water mark (498110K > 498073K)
[date] [time]| safeunlink: Couldn't delete /var/spool/squid/cache/06/6F/000076F6.
(2) No such file or directory
After some more similar log entries squid terminated abnormally, spitting out:
FATAL: Repeated failures to free up disk space
Now, since we had also system messages about /tmp being full, we are wondering if
there is any correlation between these phenomena.
Does squid need free space in /tmp to remove files from the cache?
Any comments are appreciated.
Kind regards,
Joerg
