High Fault/TCP rate

Dear friends,

        I've installed squid 1.1.20 in a AIX box just for tests. When I
tried to increase my cache_swap to 2,5 GB my IO Faults/ TCP rate increased
too much. I woul be glad if some of you could inform what should I try in
order to low this rate?. I couldn't get a specific answer on the FAQ.

        Additional Information you might need:

Number of TCP connections: 854194
Page faults with physical i/o: 1127140

cache_mem 30
cache_swap 2500

        Before this situation, I had a 2 GB swap space and the IO
Faults/TCP connections was about 0,51 .
