Hi,
Sounds like the same problem I had also with the same version of
squid. We run it on a Celeron 400 256 meg ram, running Linux with 20 gig
of drive space.
It would take ages for sites to load via the proxy, in the end i decreased
the amount of RAM squid was using and restarted and it came back fine
again, it hasnt happened since, this was nearly a week ago now.
