nslookup is not a good tool for verifying if the host accepts hostnames
with underscores in them. Use ping, telnet or whatever TCP/IP tool.

The problem with using nslookup is that it talks directly to the DNS
server, bypassing most of the code used when other programs looks up
host names (and replacing the code it doesn't bypass).
