A fatal error and squid restarting

Hello,

In my squid 2.3.stable1(linux 6.0), cache.log shows me that there is
a fatal error, and squid can start up again automatically, the following
is the log content about this:

FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.
2000/03/08 13:05:45| storeDirWriteCleanLogs: Starting...
2000/03/08 13:05:49| Starting Squid Cache version 2.3.STABLE1 for i686-pc-linux-gnu...

This matter has happened several times(once a day). I remembered that
the matter never came out ago. Anybody can say why this occurs?
