Hello Perhad,

I don't know if there is any non-commercial product that can do that. If
I knew, I'd be using it here already. If you manage to get information
regarding one, please share that with me as well.

I know of one commercial application named SlipStream, which is a dialup
accelerator which does what you are asking about. It works in a
client-server architecture and as such your dialup users have to run the
'client' portion on their PCs. I do not know if there is a client for
*NIX, so you might not be lucky with 'advanced' (using Unix) clients,
but the ordinary client who uses only Winblows will he happy, I can
assure you. We did run tests at out ISP...

A google search for "slipstream accelerated dial" will give you more
information.
