Start with a check on the version of Squid installed. Last I saw the
fink repositories had a seriously obsolete version of Squid-2.5.

Anything that builds on Linux has an equivalent that builds on MacOS X.
Might be windows-only, but unlikely. If you can't locate a current
squid bundle to install you might try getting someone at fink to update
it and add NCSA for you.

Or building it from source yourself. Not too hard, with a step-by-step
help in the http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq
