If you find that this is a major problem for some specific sites then
you can use a PAC script to force the clients to always use one specific
server for these troublesome sites.

All configurations where you have more than one proxy in a hierarchy
have this trouble (for some sites even using one proxy is enought to
break their braindead authentication), and best place to solve it is at
the origin server.
